ARC Announces Executive Director

The Augusta Regional Clinic Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Janice Morgan as Executive Director, effective immediately.

Located in Fishersville, the ARC is a not-for-profit organization that provides high‐quality medical, dental, pharmacy and health education services to uninsured residents of the Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro area who do not have the resources to pay for these basic healthcare services.

Ms. Morgan has served the Clinic since 2004 as Director of Finance and Administration, and since 2015 as Interim Executive Director. She began her association with the Clinic as a volunteer. Before joining the staff at the Clinic, Ms. Morgan had a career in banking in Indiana and New York.

Ms. Morgan says of her new position, “I am honored to serve the Augusta Regional Clinic as the new Executive Director. The clinic has a core group of highly skilled and extremely dedicated employees and volunteers, and together, I look forward to continuing our work in providing affordable, quality medical care to our community.”

Board President and Search Committee Chair, the Rev. Dr. Mark Radecke adds, “The board is excited to have Janice as the head of the ARC team. Her managerial ability and her love for and dedication to the ARC is obvious to all who know her. The Search Committee was impressed by Janice’s growth in leading the organization as Interim Executive Director, and by her handling of several challenging issues during that time. In the face of the ever-changing landscape of health care in America, we are confident that Janice Morgan will capably lead the ARC in the coming years.”
